SUSTAINABLE CREMATION Fire to Water™

GLOBAL FRIENDLY

Qico's Fire to Water™ method, the closest imitation of Mother Nature available, is a truly global-friendly clean and green option for families who value the significance of one's final bodily act.

THE PURPOSE

Qico officially incorporated with the mission of providing an environmentally responsible, ecologically beneficial and economically viable water based alternative to fire cremation.

ENERGY EFFICIENT

The water based Qico process emits no emissions and is substantially more energy efficient because it eliminates the dependency on natural gas, a non-replenishable fossil fuel.

AFFORDABLE

Qico provides affordable, full-service, turnkey leasing options to funerary practitioners who are looking to be part of an ecologically better future.

OUR GOAL

The goal of Qico is to globally transition cremation technology from Fire to Water™ while promoting sustainability initiatives.

CARBON FOOTPRINT

Pollutants such as toxins, dioxides, furans, particulates and greenhouse gases are avoided when replacing fire with water.

Ethically Sound

We pride ourselves on being a clean biotechnology company that not only meets the consumer demands for sustainability and environmental responsibility but presents its customers with an instant P&L benefit after its first month in use.

The Process

Water cremation is a naturally occurring process by which the body of a deceased person is reduced to its essential organic components and bone fragments by using mild heat, water, and a combination of earth metal salts (plant ashes) in a water cremation chamber.

Before the process, the deceased is covered with a body wrapping that consists of a 100% protein based material such as silk, suede, leather, feather, fur or wool.

Water cremation generates calcium phosphate (bones) and hydrolysate. The bones are cremulated into cremains ("ashes") that are then inurned and returned to the family in the exact same manner as a traditional fire-based cremation.
